SurrenderingSomething swirled all around me. It was cold and dark, but all I could see was blinding trails of colour. Chaotic sounds blasted into my eardrums, sending pounding vibrations down my throat into the pit of my stomach. Instead of being sickened, the vibrations comforted me in some strange way. I heard a voice, or was it a thought of my own? Surrender…let go. I felt myself moving, slowly at first, but then rapidly. I was aware of being violently tossed around. Trails of light passed by me as I was propelled faster and faster into an abyss. Something clicked in the back of my mind. I should have been scared. I knew I was going to die. Instead ofSurrendering

A million phosphorous eyes..Over a curtain of infinite blackness, a million phosphorous eyes of God looked upon me. Illuminating with a feverous yet calm wisdom, (and I knew) their gaze held the secrets of existence, and I cried into divinity - "Tell me who I am..."A million phosphorous eyes..
The night came alive with emotion and the stars fell; the tears of God weeping with the answer... They slowed as they reached the earth, (like falling autumn leaves...) and lofted away, dimming in the distance; slowly dying fireflies, for whom I also wept...

To die in dreams...Bad dreams cold sweat flows as he shivers the night winds blow... Pained thoughts, mocking memories like starved carrion birds pecking at his skull feasting on his fear, gorging on his regret...To die in dreams...
Dilated pupils walking in the dark blind to everything but his past. Artificial peace -
white pills - little blocks of ice that numb his senses that cool his fever and may bring him his freedom.
Closed eyes drifting off a peaceful fall into nothingness black. A long plummet far down and this time he again prays t

See what's in front of you.Shards of broken mirror lay on the floor - reflections of the conflicting parts of himself, blood seeping from his hands and cowering, focusing on the pain within.See what's in front of you.
Look into the glass and what do I see, a broken man with a bottle in one hand, with eyes full of hatred and a callused heart still faintly beating.
His head bowed down in his hands, trying to still, to calm the chaos inside, yearning for the spark, some hope, some answers to questions asked long ago.
He already knew the answers... he just couldn't accept their simplicity, that t

LetsLet's burn the bodies of the young, And beautiful. Collect them all into a pile,Lets
To drown in acid tears, And bitter hatred of the self. Let's bury them by the sidewalks, Where we face our daily battles, To the war their beauty is a weapon of, And defence our insecurities bide us.
Let's smash and break the armor, Of the cars and vehicles which congest our air; Of the perfect specimen of science, To which our drunken ignorance blindly drives along. Let's throw matches in the petrol tank, And watch the lack of free will go up in flames; Destroy fund

When one has dealings with scholars and artists it is easy to miscalculate in opposite directions: behind a remarkable artist one not infrequently finds a mediocre man, and behind a mediocre artist often a very remarkable man.

i love how you use - but don't quite overuse rhyme.. i rarely have enough sense to do so.. either making it sound too childish or largely avoiding the pitfalls of rhyme.
